Q: Who are you?

A: You can call me Rainy. I'm a medical equipment maintenance student residing in the Pacific Northwest. I've had a passion for electronics all my life, with many of my hobbies revolving around such subjects.

Q: What of your identity?

A: I use any pronouns, and don't feel particular attachment to any gender or sexuality label. Non-Binary Gender-Apathetic and Omnisexual fit pretty well, but overall, I tend not to define myself with such labels.

Q: What are your other hobbies and interests?

A: To keep things short: computers, electronics, soldering, console modding, history, socialism, Marxism, reading, gaming, listening to music, self-hosting, Linux/Unix-Like OSs, media preservation and ownership, and more. Feel free to ask about any of these.

Q: What games/music do you like?

A: I tend to stick to strategy/racing games, but occasionally play a variety of other genres. I have a last.fm linked on the main page for more info on my music taste, and you can ask.

Q: What are your personal beliefs?

A: I am an atheist and Marxist. I believe in the guidance of a revolution by a well-disciplined worker-led party wherein a workers' state is established to abolish capitalistic relations and bring the world into communism. I stand against dogmatism; you should not be ridiculed for interpreting information differently from someone else. I generally stand against revisionism such as what has been seen in Dengist China, and apologia of blatant imperialism as seen in Russia and China.

I am also gender abolitionist. I believe that many social constructs, including gender, have been built up and reinforced to oppress people. People should have a right to transform their bodies and expression in various ways without oppression.

I also believe in automation. I seek a future where humans will have to do little to no work outside of things they enjoy.
